1. About the store
The Mahj Society operates as a curated online catalog and dispatches eligible orders from China. Contact details are shown in the website footer and on the contact sections of our policy pages.
2. Products and availability
We aim to describe products accurately, including available options, quantities, dimensions, materials and included accessories. Product images and information are owned or managed by our store. Minor colour, grain, finish or production differences can occur, and product availability may change.
3. Orders and payment
Placing an order is an offer to purchase. The order is accepted when payment is authorised and product availability is confirmed, unless we notify you otherwise. Available payment methods are displayed at checkout. We may cancel and refund an order if an item is unavailable or an obvious pricing or listing error has occurred.
4. Prices, shipping and taxes
Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Shipping charges are shown before payment is completed and follow the rates described on the Shipping & Returns page. Import duties, VAT, sales tax and customs fees charged by the destination country are normally the buyer’s responsibility.
5. Delivery
Delivery estimates depend on the destination, carrier, customs and product handling. Estimates are not guaranteed dates. Risk and title transfer according to the terms of the carrier and applicable law. Report lost, delayed or damaged parcels using the process on the Shipping & Returns page.
6. Returns
Returns are governed by the Shipping & Returns page. Ready-made products may be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery when unused and complete. Special-order, made-to-order, personalised and clearance items may be excluded where permitted by law.
7. Website content and intellectual property
Website text, product descriptions, branding, layout and product photography are owned or managed by our store and may not be copied or reused without permission.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use the website for unlawful activity, attempt to disrupt its operation, submit fraudulent orders, scrape private data or interfere with payment and security systems.
9. Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for a specific order is limited to the amount actually paid for that order, except where a different result is required by law.
